Hidden down a steep alleyway in Saint John, New Brunswick sits Port City Royal. Within the dimly lit basement of the old Patterson Building you’ll find worn floorboards, exposed lath, a leather chesterfield and an old Persian rug. A velvet Elvis keeps guard over the dining room. This is Port City Royal: lounge, kitchen, and soul.

Every season, we make our favourite food with what’s available to us. The menu moves with the ingredients, borrowing freely from the places, traditions and dishes we love. The bar and lounge follow much the same approach, with good drinks, good food and a place to settle in.
